Have you seen the new bike boxes at Alameda and Garrison? The bike boxes are part of a pilot project to improve the safety and comfort of both bicyclists and motorists navigating the intersection. Take a look at this short video to find out what they are, how they work and how they keep people safe. Thank you to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Healthy Active Living Unit, the Centers from Disease Control State Physical Activity and Nutrition Program, and the Denver Regional Council of Governments for partially funding the bike boxes and making this pilot project possible.
